The nurse must possess an active and valid nursing license in the jurisdiction where they are currently practicing. This ensures that they adhere to the regulatory standards established by professional nursing bodies, which is crucial for maintaining quality care.
The candidate is required to have an updated curriculum vitae (CV) or resume. This document should comprehensively outline their educational qualifications and all relevant work experience. It must include detailed information regarding degree programs completed, along with specific dates of both education and employment.
The applicant must be presently employed in a full-time capacity at an acute care inpatient facility that accommodates a minimum of 100 beds. This criterion is significant as it demonstrates the candidate's capability to function effectively in a high-demand, dynamic healthcare environment.
Additionally, the nurse must have a minimum of one year of experience in their current nursing specialty. Furthermore, candidates should possess at least two years of practical experience specifically within the emergency department and/or operating room.
